According to the manufacturer, the in-motion axle weighbridge does not require trucks to stop in order to be weighed.
The digital weight indicator automatically adds axle weights after the truck has passed the weighbridge, which is sent to a data logger for uploading to an on-site PC.
Accuweigh says the weighbridge achieves 100kg accuracy for trucks entering and leaving the site, and provides drivers with printouts of individual axle weights to ensure correct axle loadings are finalised before leaving the site.
Orica says the weighbridge will ensure the correct volume of liquid explosives is delivered to its clients.
