FABER Toolboxes will display its new Workbench toolbox, manufactured from 3 mm mild steel, during the 2009 Queensland Resources Expo (QREX) trade exhibition at the Rockhampton Showgrounds from 21 and 23 July 2009.
The Workbench, which weighs 300 kg and costs $2960, has two sets of double lockable doors and an internal shelf and will head the company’s QREX line-up of heavy-duty toolboxes.
Faber Toolboxes was established 25 years ago and also manufactures a wide range of weatherproof toolboxes in 1.6 mm hot rolled steel. They are laser cut and welded to provide robust construction with no moving parts.
Once assembled, all boxes are abrasive blasted, powder coated with a 98% zinc rich primer and finished with a second colour powder coat. The result is a tough, rust-resistant finish.
Manufactured at Narrabri, NSW, Faber toolboxes can be customised and carry a 20-year guarantee. The toolboxes are designed to be vehicle mounted, and suit a range of industries, including mining, earthmoving, farming and contracting.
Other models on display at QREX will include the:
• Hercules 1V and V, which have a 90 mm storage compartment and four or five drawers respectively
• Trolley and Trolley 11, which are 910 mm long x 620 mm wide x 910 mm high and are on castors.
