POWERLIFT Nissan has announced that it will be selling 226 used forklifts in an unreserved online auction, conducted by GraysOnline.

The nation-wide ‘surplus to ongoing requirement’ sale will commence at 3pm EST on Thursday 17 September 2009 and end at 3pm EST on Wednesday 23 September 2009.

Cameron Poolman, CEO, GraysOnline says the online auctioning of forklifts is increasingly becoming an alternative sales channel for major suppliers in Australia.

Poolman says the convenience and cost effectiveness of the GraysOnline auctioning model presents strong opportunities for both buyers and vendors. Being an unreserved auction, buyers can save from 30 and 50% when compared to buying the same used forklift from a traditional retailer.

Buyers can inspect and test the forklifts at inspection sites in Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland and New South Wales during the sale period. The majority of products will be Nissan; however other brands on offer include Toyota, Crown, Hyster, Linde, Komatsu, and Clark.
