Mine vehicles industry to be under-mined by alternative transport

Mine vehicles industry to be under-mined by alternative transport AUROX Resources plans to build a slurry pipeline which could be the beginning of the end for transportation vehicles used in the mining industry.

The 200km pipeline will be used to transport iron ore from a Western Australian mine.

CEO of Aurox, Charles Schuas says that if the company were to run trucks between our site to Port Hedland, it would cost between $12 and $15 a tonne. To pump it up an underground pipeline is $1 a tonne.
