Bobcat operators wanted for mine vehicle rock ‘n’ roll ballet

Bobcat balletQUEENSLAND will host the first-ever Bobcat Ballet at the Mackay Festival of Arts, which will be held between 11 and 25 July 2009.

Mackay Regional Council's Festival and Events producer, David Gerrand says he is looking for up to 10 steel skid steerers and two mini excavators, with operators, to be part of the Bobcat Ballet performance team.

Gerrand expects the new event will create a great roar around Mackay and in other Queensland locations.

The mining vehicles will dance appropriately to rock ‘n’ roll and will perform at the festival as well as potentially at the Queensland Mining Exhibition.
